Abuse culture is still unfortunately alive & well in the workplace

Stories relating to inappropriate conduct demonstrated by those in power as well as the vilification & smearing of victims are some of the main reasons why the Me Too & Time’s Up movements were formed. As unfortunate as it is to see backfire against said movements due to bad actors using them for vindictive & malicious reasons, one cannot deny the importance they hold within our society. Because of them, numerous figures within the twisted world of Hollywood were finally being held to the fire in the way they should’ve been years ago & are continuing to be exposed til this day. However, there’s a major difference between reading up about them & living out those experiences for yourself. I happen to fit in both of these categories. During March to July of 2024, I was a member of San Carlo, a restaurant located in Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport.  In late July, I was punished for simply warning & venting to people about the misconduct of a former manager of m...

Pro-Lie: What Makes The Pro-Life Belief So Dangerous

No matter how much these people try to argue otherwise, it’s obvious that they see people including children as nothing but objects of projection & tools of delusional fantasies & sinister agendas. The United States has the largest population of these toxic individuals.  From the World Wars to the Cold War, they come from eras where war was the forefront of Western culture & the slaughter of soldiers, unresolved trauma, deterioration of mental health & eventual suicide became part of the system. It doesn’t help that China, North Korea, the Middle East & Russia pose as huge threats & are the most likely to participate in a 3rd World War. These individuals are the types of capitalists & conservatives who make normal capitalists & conservatives look bad. Even human life is a capitalist issue to them, which is a major piece of irony considering that goes against what they claim to stand for. Freedom isn't one of those things despite constantly scree...

Sexual Abuse, The Law & Censorship

Criticism can be applied to anything. However, it’s how you do it that matters. In this particular case, it can be extremely tricky. While I’m fully aware that there are a lot of malicious people who’ll do anything to destroy the lives of people they don’t like, if you do it to someone who could actually be a victim of sexual abuse to the point of harassment & bullying, you’d be a victim blamer by definition. Now, how does this apply to censorship? Well, that’s if you’re the one who’s being accused & the victim. If you’re first way of responding to sexual abuse allegations is threatening legal action, people have a right to treat you with suspicion. As mentioned previously, I’m aware that there are a lot of malicious people who’ll do anything to destroy the lives of people they don’t like, but if you’re not willing to immediately tell your side, provide evidence that can’t be easily debunked or have credible witnesses, you’re not only trying to hide the truth by abusing the pow...

Kim Jonghyun: The Kurt Cobain Of K-Pop

SHINee is a K-Pop group that debuted back in May 2008. The members consisted of 5 guys: Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho & Taemin. Jonghyun was the lead vocalist of SHINee & during his time in the group, he also worked as a producer, solo artist & radio host.  Not only did his vocals always stood out to me, his solo work was more proof of how talented he truly was. As of now,  Onew, Key, Minho & Taemin are the current members of SHINee. This wasn't due to any want to leave to pursuit other things. Sadly, the truth is a lot more depressing.  On 18th December 2017, Jonghyun committed suicide after losing his battle with severe depression.  While he was open about his struggles on the Four Things Show, he kept many of his struggles a secret from the public. To say that his death broke me and many other fans would be a huge understatement. Is was a K-Pop tragedy that not only made the entire world stand still, it made the entire K-Pop industry reflect on the mi...
